Your event isn’t just another gig on the calendar for me. I work with just a handful of clients each year at venues in Durango, Dunton, and Telluride to ensure that we have plenty of time to get to know each other and develop a well-detailed plan for your event.

I love to talk about and listen to all kinds of music. And, I’d love to share music with you and your guests, of course. I will bring my musical expertise as a DJ to the table to support your event to the extent you prefer. I am well versed in dance music of all stripes from around the world. I will also bring my background in design thinking to help tease out possible iterations for different kinds of playlists with you. I always prefer to collaborate and have an ongoing dialogue with clients about the scope and sequence of music at an event.

My best DJ friend Shawn and I oftentimes will share DJ duties on big nights like New Year’s Eve or Halloween. These nights are geared for maximum dance floor vibes so it’s definitely a different feel than say an ecstatic dance, soulful brunch, or certainly a wedding (well some of them!) Imagine a wedding that combined all of these things!

I didn’t actually know Shawn was recording a Halloween set a couple years back, and just dug it up a couple months ago during a bored quarantine day. In the recording, I think it was about 1 am or so at that point of the night, so things were definitely at their hottest point of the night. Which means it’s time for the dance floor killers.

Here you get to see a little bit about the mindset I bring to DJing. Was I able to go from disco and soul to House and Techno with a little Top 40 love in there? This isn’t technically perfect mixing, but I’ve never been super interested in that. To me, a DJ’s role is more about feeling the room and helping people have a great time!
